Description
As a systems engineer, you will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security
Responsibilities
- Conduct Technical presentation for pre-sales work
- Perform installation and configuration of IT solutions
- Provide onsite post-sales technical support to customers
- Resolve customer technical issues
- Field work is required
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering
(Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. - At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer -
Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
Skills
Systems Engineer - Availability Solutions:
- Knowledge of ;
- Veritas Backup Exec, Veritas NetBackup or any Backup Software is an advantage, but
not required. - public cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure
- application performance management and optimization
- information content service collaboration
- Veritas Backup Exec, Veritas NetBackup or any Backup Software is an advantage, but
- Working knowledge or at the minimum understands the concept of a Database such as Oracle or
MS-SQL, IBM DB2, etc. - Exposure to Email Solutions such as MS Exchange and IBM Domino.
- Experience in Windows Server, Linux Red Hat or SUSE, UNIX IBM AIX or HP-UX.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Veritas - NetBackup, Backup Exec, Infoscale Solutions, Enterprise Volt
(Storage Foundation, Volume Replication, Veritas Cluster Server) - Nutanix – AOS, AHV, PRISM
- ASG – ZENA, ZENITH, MOBIUS
